Its a custom burst.

I'm calling it a Peach Burst.

I think its some type of trans cherry burst, but over the Sitka Spruce Artist, it looks just peachy to me !

I was told that at the same time they did this finish, they did the same burst finish for Tom Hamiltons custom bass (but I'm not sure).

Say, Bill, could you make us a simple front-and-center on a neutral background for the Finishes Guide?

Wow, here is a new one on the Bay with my same burst finish.

My artist is a little different in that it is a custom hardtail and the knobs were placed a tad lower and further peripherally.

The burst goes further up the horn on mine which is a small thing, but I like it. Otherwise it looks to be the same finish.

Very cool.

Bill, do you know which sunburst yours and that one are? I'm thinking "Cherry Sunburst - CSB."
