My Rig

Okay, so you've all seen the guitars by now, but this is my first post of the RIG.  (Actually, today was the first band practice for MONTHS, and the first time I've used the KC-500 with the band.)

L to R: Deluxe, Single 2, Stealth
Rocktron Taboo Twin atop Roland KC-500

Lexicon MPX-R1, Rocktron HEX Expression Pedal, Boss TU-2 tuner, Roland GR-30 Guitar Synth, a tangle of cable, much of which goes no where [:0][B)][V]

Roland JX-8P and JV-1010 module

Zoom A2 and Ibanez Volume Control (for keys), more unmanageable cabling

Here's how it all works:
Mag side to Rocktron Taboo Twin, controlled by Lexicon MPX-R1, with HEX as Volume Control.  Taboo Twin feeds TU-2 (direct - no effects), which in turn feeds Lori's Digitech Vocalist Live 4 (for Harmony reference)

Piezo to Zoom A2 to KC-500

GR-30 to KC-500

JX-8P as controller for JV-1010 to KC-500

Welcome to my world!  [:D]

Thanks guys!

Bill, one of these days (probably after a gig!) I'll tear out all the unused cables.  Today I had a half-hour to set up, adding in the Zoom A2, GR-30 (hadn't used it in months [:0]) and the KC-500.  I'm actually a neat-freak, and this is rather embarassing. [:I]  But I thought you guys would get a kick out of it - 'cause I sure do!  [;)]

Simon, I don't have any idea.  I don't know a thing about BIAB, and all that I do with the JV-1010 is run MIDI in from the controller and use the existing patches. [:I]  (Heck, all I really need are a few good organ, piano, and string patches.)  But I'm pretty sure that you need a real sampler; sound modules really aren't the same thing.  (I've been wanting to get into samples and sequencing, but there's no way I can get my band to play to a click track. [:0][B)][V])

Cheers,

Larry

Here's my cheap solution for bundling cables:
Inner tubes.

I had some left over bike tube that I cut into six inch lengths. You feed your cabling through it and it stays in groups that way. I use it to make a three cable snake to manage the stuff going from my Pod x3live and 5150 combo.
