OK - she isn't a guitarist - but a tremendous player of classical, jazz, rock, "folk", "world" and "free" music on violin - plus great singer !
Possibly one of the most free musicians I have ever seen in terms of being able to visualise somthing and actually have the technique to play it
Check out Sleepytime Gorilla Museum (rock), 2 Foot Yard (avant-folk), and her stunning simultaneous vocal/violin (all in one take on scored music) on Lisa Bielawa's "A Handful of World"
Fantastically inspirational player for her choice of notes - and also her approach to music and arts in general.
Heck of a nice person too.   :-)
