I agree with the above post. I probably should warn people more often than I do, to not attempt this at home. Done under closed course control environment by professionals. Proceed at you own risk. No warranty or promises are intended or implied. You get what you paid for free advise is cheap and carries no guaranties. If I have not answered your inquiry about how to do something it is because if you have to ask you shouldn't be doing it....[;)]

One of the things that wards me off any Fly mod project is the tools at the disposal of the person making the mods.  CNC routers, jigs, complete workshops.  If it involves anything more than a bit of solder and some planning, I ain't going there.  Of course, to me it would be almost sacrilegious for me to mod either one of my Flys anyway.  The Nitefly RMC install project I started last year is still on the drawing board and in boxes.....

I double posted for the sake of the lurkers. Or any of those who don't notice the "active topics" option, or only look in 1 area before taking a sabre saw to their guitar. But if you truly wish to get technical; I did not double post as 1 says modding your guitar, and the other is modding your Parker.  =)

I have a Bachelor of Music Degree, a Master of Music degree, a 135 IQ, and I got a 1290 on my SAT (Not that great, but I was chasing chicks, smoking pot, and dropping acid during high school).

I think I'm cleared to modify my guitars as I see fit.  And yeah, I'm smart enough to let pros do the heavy lifting.

Seriously, the warning is fair, but it sounds like something a lawyer would come up with.

But... whatever.
