This is my new parker. it's a P44 but it is not the normal version. it has a fishman bridge and the pots are positioned completely differently than all the others i have seen.

Gorgeous guitar and so sweet to play!

Welcome to the forum Ben! [:D] Your P-44 looks absolutely awesome. Looks to be some kind of custom or prototype. Did you buy it from a dealer? Congrats, she looks like a keeper! [;)]

Hi and cheers for the warm welcome!
I picked her up in a local music store (Gamlins) in Cardiff. Apparently had been in the store room sat there all forgotten until I went in and enquired with the guys there about the Fly's and other Parker guitars.
He got it down for me and had to have it!

Is this the black stain flame top? I have a P-44 identical to this one, and mine has a strange dusty green color on the top, but the back is a coffee color brown.

Peavey XXL head
Peavey XXXL 412 slant cab

Your New Parker P44 is the first standard version, though... :-)

Hi!

That's it, contemporary of the P-38 and P-40, so having same controls layout.

Cheers, JPB
