First Parker P-42 comments

This is my first post and my first Parker. A Strat player from birth :) I decided to buy an entry level PArker after playing one belonging to a friend.
The P-42 I have was made in Indonesia, actually not bad at all!
The neck is straight though a tad relief was necessary to remove some slight buzz in the middle frets. The bridge is screwed right down to the body which gives a slightly under 2/32" at the 12th fret action, the neck is already shimmed so action can not go any lower which is fine for this guitar. The pups sound good, though some EMG's would be nicer after clipping the mounting tabs for installation. The electronics are fine, not super cheapo stuff but not the best around. I wish the tuners would have been Sperzel lock tuners to begin with so no screw holes would have to be filled if I decide to change them, the 18:1 grovers will do for now.
All in all not a bad axe from the east, I was pleasently surprised with this one.
BTW the supplied Gig bag is better than most I see on the market.
Comments anyone?
