What Finish Option Should Parker Offer?

I'm not talking custom orders, I mean on production models.

Transparent Orange for the supreme.
Trans Turquise for the Mojo.
Anything but butterscotch for the Artist.

vintage sunbursts (like a 58 les paul) would be cool.  and kind of weird combining a traditional finish on a modern design.
Flip flop paint that changes colour when viewed from different directions would also be cool.

Faded denim burst, and tiger eye on the mojo flame would look nice i think.

I am with David a faded vintage sunburst on book matched flame top is well... to die for [8D]

I like tiger eye too on flame or curly maple this one doesn't have to be book matched. [:p]

I am not a fan of turquoise or aqua but lots of other people seem to be. [:)]

One thing I don't care for is the black fade on the edges of the guitars. I would rather have a hard edge line dividing the solid back color from the transparent top colors. [^]

Funny LGM was the website I was looking at when I thought up this thread.

To me PRS was the first to offer nice transparent colors on their figured tops. Their guitars just look better in the brighter colors if you ask me. They also offer the traditional bursts and solids too.

I just wish parker would do the same. Have you seen the transparent rasberry finishes on the PRS CU 24. How sweet would that look on a supreme or a mojo flame? Or the tiger eye?

I am not fond of PRS guitars at all..the neck heel and electronics..everything feels wrong to me..hell you cant even play past the 12th fret on those things because the neck heel is gigantic..http://www.wildwestguitars.com/prs/pages/modern_92537.htm i do like their nitro-satin finishes tho. I think something like that would be nice on a flamed maple top parker. I'm not a fan of high gloss myself...i just feel uncomfortable sticking to it and what not. That color isn't the best...but i like the concept

my humble opinions:
the LGM guitars look amazing! not sure about the body shape, but wow, what great finishes ( i like the green, obviously!)
PRSs do look better in lighter colours
Raspberry is the best (non-vintage) colour - i nearly bought one until i reminded myself how good parkers were.

Here's my suggestions:
How about a blended series of transparent stains over burr walnet?[:)]
Or what about a metalled finish like Satch's Ibanez? [8D]Something like that in silver, gold or copper would look out of this world.
Or perhaps a series of big flake metallics?[;)]

Tell you what
I played a Jet Earlwood plus a few months ago. The piezo on that guitar sounds better than on any other guitar I have played. If you want clear accoustic tones, it comes second to none. Anyone who plays a gibson or a PRS should definately consider a JET as a replacement. It is lighter, and incredibely versatile in sound and playability. It also has 24 frets and full access to the entire fretbopard.
