A beauty, indeed. Great score! What did you replace her with, Angaliel? [;)]

MR Obscure : I started to like heavy gauge strings guitars : 13-58.
But impossible to keep tune on Parkers guitars with that heavy gauge....
So I had to change guitar.
I now play on a Fender Strat JV83 and I love the way it sounds with heavy gauge strings.
But I miss piezo....... I guess nothing is white nothing is black....

Thanks for the reply. A wee bit sad to hear about your drifting out of the Parker orbit [:(]...
As for me, I've been travelling an inverted evolutionary path, if you will. I'm moving away from playing primarily Stratocasters over the last 20+ years to being wholly engulfed by the Parker universe. Not that I'll ever completely abandon Strats - I still have a deep love for them.
Hope the change is working out for you, though. Must be hard to part from such a sweet instrument.

By the way, where does the name Angaliel come from? It is such an intriguing, beautiful name...

Mr Obscure :

thx for your reply.

Strangely I'm now more comfortable on my C shape Strat neck than any Parker neck I had.......
And back to basic strat open my guitar play to essencials notes and approch.

My nickname Angaliel comes from my old times role playing character. He was a half elf. His elf name was "Angaliel" and his human name was "Shadows Hunter". I created this character based on American Indians metis, wich I study a lot by reading lots of books.

Thanks, Angaliel, for that little revelation... For some reason I had a feeling that it had that sort of origin. Certainly sounds very Elfish.

Cheers.
