The JB looks nudged forward a little. Not what I was expecting either. I would have thought it would be an RMC saddle variation.

It's great to see a MIDI option available now, but I think most people would prefer a saddle-based hex pickup solution.  The Roland GK pickup seems like a cheap way to go - but who knows, if the mark-up is reasonable for the option, it could be attractive.

The control layout looks cool.  I look forward to seeing a close-up to figure out what two little silver parts are.

Is the Fly with EMGS in your photobucket the Dragon Fly?  If so, I take credit for the name. [}:)]

that mojo sure has a lot of control options!  a few more options and they could cut cost by not having to paint the top--nothing but knobs, switches, buttons, built in keyboards, a place to hang your car keys, and a bottle opener to top it off.[:D]  i like it!

that bridge pup does look pushed forward.

A Floyd Rose on a Parker... never thought I'd see something like that... [;)]
I'm quite happy to be rid of mine now with my Parker, but I'm sure Vernon will put it to good use.

Greetings...

A Floyd Rose on a Parker?!  Blasphemy!  I like the guitar otherwise.  I'd love to see a return of the S2 (or even an S3!). [:D]

Seems the Dragonfly has all the options that have come to be the most requested in one Fly. For some reason all of them at once don't work for me. I love that they've taken the initiative to  make them possible but for me all at once looks gaudy. The External GK, the Floyd, the S2 config and the SD w/mounting ring. The body must be a little thicker for the rear spring cavity. I'm not crazy about how far the bridge pickup has moved.

The GK really kills it for me. Go with Ghost or RMC saddles. Also the pickup ring makes it look like a P series. The singles with the mounting flanges don't look good either. A more suitable name would be "FrankenFly".

Can't those push button selectors be put into the tone and volume pots that you can get momentary switches in? To me Floyds go better with Dimarzios even on a market level. The singles on my S2 look way classier than any of those horribly hacked magnet pole/hard plastic bobbin pickups.

Like I said before I'm happy these things have been done. I'm just not crazy about HOW they've been done.

Does the Floyd Rose by itself weight as much as a Fly?

i personally cant see the point of having a floyd rose in the Fly. The fly bridge is so much nicer to setup and use.

as for the GK and the moved Pickup, i'd rather see RMC or the Graphtech system being used. i'm not a fan of the pickup ring on the fly also, but i can see the advantage of having it
