Parker Guitars - works for all Genres?
« on: March 21, 2005, 11:17:14 AM »
I play varied styles of music but specialize mostly in reggae (being Jamaican and living there ect.).

I've been playing Parkers since '99 (my first parker, a Fly Classic) and it's really a great guitar for reggae, especially for that "cutting edge" rhythm tone I like to use.

Pop to Jazz.......what can I say, "still awesome". My Fly Artist, Classic & P 38 goes well for all of the above. And I used them all on my debut project. (go to my home page for a listen)

Think I'm gonna get the new Fly Mojo Single-cut next.

All u Metal guys, Punk Rock, Country..........whoever u are, I'm sure we see eye to eye on this....right?

I have to say Robert, I am a system administrator and have done some web site work before and awarded for it. That is a very pro site. Very nicely done. I am not a Reggae fan, but I like what you've done with your tunes, very cool, and some very nice playing. I am pretty much a straight forward metal type guy, and I have found the the Fly to be a master of several styles, and a jack of all others. Best instrument out there these days.

Binner, I couldn't agree with you more. And thanks, (about the site and the tunes) the guy from Inasite.com really hooked me up.

the main reason I play a Parker Fly Classic is because I need to cover Jazz, Rock, Country, and Finger Style ala Cester A. and Joe Pass...alot of times in the same night, so the Fly gives me all those sounds along with my various amp set-ups.  What a great guitar.....nothing comes close.
