I would say it is never 100% necessary. You just don't know what you're doing.

I took the guitar to a specialist that makes guiatrs for 50+ years and he is the best in my counntry so i believe theres nobody who can judge him.
He said that the problem is that the spring had to much pressure and when it snapped out, it lost its elasticity and became permanently deformed so i had to make it shorter until i order a new one.

Well, do you think there will be any problems with this idea?? Because personally, i see none! And by the way the idea is correct because i study physics but I'm not sure how this rule applys on that kind of spring.

Anyway I don't want to argue over something like this especially since it's just a temporary solution.

I am saying you and your tech don't know what they are talking about in any way shape or form. And I don't want to leave bad advice on the board for somebody to follow.

Wait till you get the new spring you will be right back where you started since you still don't know what you're doing. And I don't want to hear they sent you a bad spring.[V]

If it wasn't so late at night I would be rolling on the  floor.
