The company that makes those used to be called XOX Audio Tools, and that guitar used to be called "The Handle". It was designed by Peter Solomon. I guess it's called "The Skelletron" now?

I wanted to check it out at the NAMM show in Anaheim a couple of years ago, but it wasn't in the budget. I am still curious as to how it plays and feels in your hands. And of course, how it sounds.

Hmmm, those pictures show XOX Guitars on the headstock, and The Handle on the back.  I suspect The Skelletron is just ER's way of hiding the guitars origins (where they post prices as 2499 pounds) so that he can charge 20% over MSRP for it.  [:0][V][xx(]

Hello all,
this is Peter Solomon, designer of the Handle,
it is indeed called the Handle, is produced by XOX Audio Tools.
ER went against our permission and made up his own name, and never changed it back or took it down, regardless of the many times we asked him to.
The Handle is a fantastic musical instrument and I invite you all to give it a try and feel and hear it for yourselves.
I am always available for further info at peter.solomon@xoxaudiotools.com
my best,
Peter

Hello again Peter! Ah, that sounds like Ed Roman. Since I have recently become unemployed, some people here at the forum have suggested that I go work for him since I live in Las Vegas. But I think I'd rather be homeless rather than work for him from what I hear about how he is as a human being.

I'd love to try one of these Handle guitars, but the only way I'd get my hands on one is if someone gave me one, or if I had an endorsement.

Hi Paul,
I will keep you informed as soon as we have a dealer in Las Vegas so you can get the chance to try one out!

Also for everyone's info Guitar Affari www.guitaraffair.com has a Handle and has ordered some other models (piezo, baritone, tremolo) and they rent their guitars out for people who want to try out different special top end guitars.  Check them out.

Keep in touch Paul and we will do our best to get you a Handle to try some day....

Peter

Hi.  I am the owner of Guitar Affair (thanks for the mention Peter) and I wanted to drop a bit of information, hopefully without sounding too much like an advertisement.

Naturally, I love the XOX guitars or I wouldn't have become a dealer.  I already owned a Fly, so I was already a fan of "alternative" guitars.  Any Parker player should be at home with an XOX.  The feel is within the same general ballpark.  The neck of the XOX is a bit beefier than my Fly, but nothing like say a 50's Gibson.  Tonally, the XOX is quite versatile, especially with the pickup blender knob.  (I will always feel lacking now with only a three position switch to work with)  However, while it has a wide range and sounds great both clean and dirty, I do find that the XOX seems to have a "desire" to play rock (all variants).  It really seems to have that personality to it. It wants to be ridden hard:-)

Anyway, I am confident that Parker players would appreciate this guitar.  The construction and playability are everything that a Parker player would expect in an instrument.

As Peter mentioned, the other half of my business is a guitar rental business, and I ship all over the U.S.  For manufacturers that I rep, like XOX, rental fees are refunded (up to a week's rental) for customers who purchase.  Essentially, for those customers who buy, it is a free demo program and a great way to try a limited-availability guitar on your own gear before dropping a few thousand bucks.

I can also say that with over 150 guitars in inventory, the XOX is one of the 10 or so that I keep in my home, when it's not being rented, so that I can play it.  One of the guitars that Peter mentioned I have on order is for my personal use.  Given the caliber of the instruments around me, that's about the highest complement I can give a guitar.

Let me know if I can answer any additional questions.

I would take you up on that offer if I wasn't an unemployed bum right now. [:(]
