thinking about getting some lipstick type single coils for a SSS strat project.  they are made by GFS, you can look at them at www.guitarfetish.com.  what do you guys/ girls think?[?]

Any suggestions?

im doing an american blonde on blonde strat w/ a p90.  a lipstick in the middle. can't decide on the other humbuck hole.  Haven't found the best color pick guard. its fun to change parts.  experiment with better sounding bridges, tuners ect.  would never do it to my artist.

I replaced the active circuitry (reversibly, of course) in my 1979 Music Man and installed Lace Hemis. Tone for miles and miles. You need 250K pots for these because of the rare earth magnets.2001 Nitefly SA

i like lace stuff, 'specially their 10 degree tilt neck tele.  are hemi's humbucks?  any body like their alumnatones?  any diff in humbuck v. single ciol size alumnitones.  decided my strat will have a p90, a lipstick, and a sustainer.  are the older sustainer pups better or worse than the new ones?  anyone else make sustainers other than fernandes?
