http://www.amazon.com/Vox-NT15H-15-Watt-Guitar-Amplifier/dp/B0027K97PA/ref=sr_1_61?ie=UTF8&s=musical-instruments&qid=1242095087&sr=1-61

it is a very small (about the size of your girls shoe boxes) head.  it sounds good, looks like a toaster oven, and is very impressive.  correct me if im wrong, but i believe that VOX is one of the better tube amps for running pedals, is that true?

In another life, I used an AC15 with a few dirt boxes.  It was fantastic.

Here's a good high-quality demo of the Night Train: http://www.proguitarshop.com/product.php?ProductID=1430&CategoryID=

I don't have any experience with the amp itself, but if it sounds good enough, it may replace my Mesa...

Seems like a pretty cool little amp.  Thanks for the link to the good video Greg.

i have played it myself, however my abilities are...limited.  and this filtered internet at work doesnt do me any good to watch the video.

any way it is another consideration in my pursuit to find that amp that gets me hooked.

The AC4* micro-amp looks interesting too.

i have played the ac4 as well, it is a great small amp that is alot louder than it looks.  with the power turned all the way down it retains all the great jingle-jangle, and the raw crunch as it does at full power.  definatley a worhty amp for any "boutiqe" player.  i could see some one playing this at a coffee shop somewhere.

The Vox NT 15 looks pretty cool. Sounds good on the video. I'd like to play through a 2 channel Tiny Terror, though...

Not a big fan of these flavor of the week chinese made low wattage mini amps.  Might be fun to mess around with, but I would never use one as the center piece of my live rig.

Yeah, I was looking at possibly trying one of these out, as I have a bit of a fetish for mini amp heads. From my Sovtek Mig50H, to my Orange Tiny Terror, even my Epiphone Valve JR, all of them are cool with their own vibe. Can't wait to see what this sounds like with a Parker through it :)

As previoyusly mentioned the egnatoer rebel 20(599) is fab, chinese build so....Voxs ac 15 creme(900) is the best sounding amp in gc.  Might be chinese but prolly handwired in UK.  Orange tiny amp makes alot of noise( cant remember).  marshall 1974x handwired (1500) is the best sounding amp on the planet.  Matchless 2-10 is very nice (2500).  Except for the vox, these are all one volume, one sound, (mainly 2 el 84) amps.

Sounds great and it's one of the best sounding video demos I've ever heard. Of course he's using a VOX 2x12 blue bulldog cab and they've always been essential for VOX tone. I'd love to hear what that thing sounds like through other speakers/cabs, how much difference there would be.

But whatever, the Night Train looks like the perfect VOX for players like me who usually need another flavour of sound yet would love to add VOX tone and sparkle to their setup without buying (and carrying *s*) an AC30. And at a great price too. Definitely an amp I'd like to try one day soon.

Greetings...
