Any one own a Billy Bo?

im thinking of getting one, or possibly trading my fly for one.  i dont play it often because i cant find my "voice" with it.

just wondering what you have thought of it if you have played one.  i have only heard them, and it is hard to tell when it is played through different equipment.

What the heck is a Billy Bo and why might it have a better "voice"? Enquiring minds want to know!

Aaah. I see. So, a Gretsch solid body may be your 'voice'. Got it!

Thanks

maybe, we will see.  when it is finished ill let you know.  but my "voice" wont come from the parker.  i have tried everything from pedals, playing diferent amps, learning techniques that i, otherwise, didnt care about.  again, dont get me wrong, it is a wonderful guitar, but perhaps what appeals to me the most about the fly is the slick fret board.

truth be told, the billy bo is heavily chambered mahogany with a maple (i think) top.  another great sounding (in my opinion) guitar is gretch's archtops.  but that will have to wait, as it isnt a priority for me now.  i just got the idea to build a guitar based on the billy bo instead of paying 3000.00 dollars.  but ill build it with stainless frets and the amount of chambering that i want, and try it out.  if i dont like it, then i have learned a lesson.  we'll see.

i gotta get a band saw for the next time.  i felt like one of those guys who carves a sculpture out of a tree stump with a chain saw, only this time it was a saw's all.  my arms are tired.  it came out good though.  if you guys are interested, ill post some pics soon.
