"We Could Run Away" copy mp3 song, my first try using the Zoom H4n digital recorder on the tracks mode. Parker Single Cut, Fly bass 4 string, acoustic guitar, voice not duplicated but sung a second time on a seperate track to try to sing along with the first track. No effects, just straight into the Zoom.

"Brainverms come crawling and creeping and eat you when you're sleeping."

Nice calypso feel, good guitar work and a touch of a Talking Heads thing about. I liked it.
The only thing that exists is this moment now.

Thanks Yoyo, I haven't listened to the Talking Heads, I may check them out later tonight. The song is a 1-6-4-5, like a C - A minor - F - G except it was D - B minor - G - A or A7. Think I'll try to leave some headroom when recording the next time, that was bumping up against digital distortion but the Zoom did it o.k., some distortion. Plus use a compressor on the bass. Don't think I like my second vocal track on  the song, I get a little tired of that sound. If I could sing a few notes higher or lower on  the second vocal it might sound better. Anyway the Zoom H4n has turned out good for experimenting with and practicing to hear what I'm doing.

And a  G - F#7 - E  or E7 - A  chorus. Just checked out the Talking Heads, refreshing music, the song "Once In A Lifetime" I've heard before, I really like it.

Yeah, that's pretty much my favorite progression.

By the way, I forwarded the tune to the DEA and they want to book you for an extended stay at Club Fed.

(4 stars!)

I'll be  bunking in the same room as the Wolf, but don't worry, we can get that Purple People Eater hot rod car and make a run for it.

Either that buggy needs a periscope, or a driver that can see for miles...and miles. Just the thing in which to hit the strip...joints.
