I think we should add the silverburst fly mojo here. Although it doesn't feature a x of y on the headstock I think it's very limited (as billyt stated in another thread).

I see your point, but the concept for the Ltd. Editions Guide is to catalog the unique wood grains that are featured on some limited edition Parkers, because they are a major feature of the look of the guitar. (The graining on spruce, poplar and even mahogany are seldom particularly dramatic, and even the flame maple Supremes look very much alike.) I did include the Snakes, because they are also "no-two-alike" and the patterning is a major feature of the look of the instrument.

There's not much purpose in showing image after image of Silver Bursts or any other painted series, because they are all pretty much alike. Even one-offs from the paint shop, in my opinion, are more properly included as notes-in-passing in the Finishes Guide.

One idea would be setting up an owner registry for any limited production instruments. Another would be a photo collection devoted to one-off paint jobs. Another would be renaming my Guide to something like "Exotic Woods Guide" or something.  As I say, in any event I do not see much point to indexing photos of the various editions of a painted series.

Hi Marco,
yes, you are absolutely right. It makes no sense to post more than one photo of the silverburst, but I thought it would be nice to add it because it's very rare. One could write some sentences about every guitar/series shown here - what is speacial about them, in which year were they produced, something like that. So anyone who is interested in limited Parkers gets a quick overview (and can search the forum from there on...)

But I totally get your point regarding the woodgrains.

Would it appropriate to include this?

I'd say it's not appropriate but necessary, especially with that kind of natural wood beauty.
Maybe get a picture with neutral background?

Greetings...

I really like the way the grain flows around the neck joint. Thanks for the photos.
