One of the originals in flamenco/jazz styles, very innovative.  I'd say that John McLaughlin, Al DiMeola, and Paco DeLucia got a lot of styling and influence from this man.  Even Pat Metheny has credited Django with much of his influence.

Django is pretty much considered the epitome of Gypsy jazz. Check out this web page there a numerous videos of Django playing he will blow you away. He is a virtuoso if there ever was one. [^]
