I like the concept. I like to play fretless bass, but it would be cool to push a button and have frets without changing basses.

This is very intersting.
I tried myself.
Just one push of switch...
First time introduced in NYC.

"In the hectic swirl of the VOTU launch weekend we did get to try out the fretted/unfretted guitar.

It is one piece of work! Beautifully made, perfect mechanism, instant switching, smooth, solid, just totally amazing.
