Title: Action question
Post by: caloy on December 29, 2016, 11:42:42 AM
Any advice on the best action measurement on treble and bass side of the fret board? Is the standard measurements OK, or are there preferred measurements for this model? P8E

Did you intend to post this in the acoustic guitars forum area?  What model are you asking about?

I don't have one of these, or even seen one in person, but:

At 12th fret, I'd try for .070" low e, and .050" high e.

You might need to go a bit higher but this should get you in the ballpark.

I had mine lowered bass side is around 2.3mm treble side is 2mm. I wouldn't suggest such a low height on the acoustic. My p10e is pretty buzzy when it gets too humid. But I couldn't live with the string height that it shipped with.
