Hey Stevie, I wish I could attend.  I have been waiting for the next tour to happen since the original but I have gigs already in the book and just can't fit it all in. [:(]

You need a dep mate - to cover for you
I'd offer but I'm a bit busy that week ;-)

Stevie, I only wish I could find a suitable dep.  We have someone to cover bass and someone to cover girl vocals but finding someone to play guitar, sing, run the PA and be Mr Grumpy all at the same time is a lot harder than you might think.  It is a shame as the tour is looking better and better all the time.  Insert gratuitous expletives here!![;)]

What is the requirements for the individuals level of playing for the event?  It is easy to get intimidated by the guitar gurus and I would be afraid to show up as an "intermediate" player and not be able to hang with the big dogs!

Dave, I am very much an "intermediate" player and felt right at home last year.  I don't think there is a proficiency test to attend the event. [:D] [:p]

Casey

Gear: Parker Fly Deluxe (in Ruby Red), Digitech GNX4, other stuff...
God Bless!

I am really seriously considering it.  It's within driving distance (5 hrs) and I still regret missing last year.  I own 3 Parker guitars and would love to see the factory and some of those new guitars.

Go for it Dave - as Casey says - its not a shredding event - its about the machines themselves - and our ideas for them.

Dave, You REALLY should go. I drove up last year (6 hours from Louisville), it was great. Honestly, I'm a beginner even as a player, but love it! I'm a better builder than a player at this point, but love to play and certainly love the Parkers. Terry and crew are great and you'll certianly learn and enjoy. Definately should bring that SC back to the plant for a visit, I'm sure a number of people will remember it too.

This event will be wll worth the drive. I highly encourage the drive up for this.

I'm certainly not a pro with my guitar playing, but I'm not letting that stop me ;)  My fear of embarrassment was overridden by the chance to see a real U.S. guitar factory and a chance to play some guitars that I've been seriously G.A.S.'ing for.

Alright...you've convinced me.  Thanks for all the encouragement.  I'm in but when you hear me jammin', don't say I didn't warn you.  Seriously, it wont be that bad...just not a pro by any means but I can jam some serious bar chords with heavy distortion [:)].

Looking forward to the event!
