I'm having trouble finding knobs to put on my Nylon Fly. The volume knob is easy enough but the stacked one is a bit tougher. I'd like to have as close to original type knobs as possible. The one I'm getting has the old style rubber knobs and even thought they are fine I feel this guitar needs a little classier ones.

Ebony (wood?) Stacked Concentric Knobs would be hard to find. You might have to ask a luthier for custom made knobs.

Not too long ago they were stock on the Nylon Flys. All the photos out there are with the ebony ones. They're still even listed in all the catalogs as custom ebony. I know the catalogs and the website are all wrong. Oh well I geuss they'll be about 50+bucks then huh?

Yeah I've sent an email to those guys with no reply. Must be off for the holidays. Maybe it's not worth changing. The last thing I want to do is put knurled metal ones on. The stacked knobs on the THG site aren't even close in design to the ones Parker was getting. Maybe Mick can point me in the right direction. The guys at the Parker factory were stumped(as always) by the type of knobs that used to come on the Nylon Fly.

Those customer service guys should be participating here so they know what they're talking about. I've heard some strange stuff from the people that call them.

Could easily be $40 for the Concentric Knobs or more. Might as well have inlay line or dot marker (abalone?) while you're at it and get the volume knob to match (another $20?).

The yucky knobs came from Fishman. The volume/tone control board is the "discontinued" AGP-2.

thgknobs is a one man shop(a guy named Roger). I've ordered from him before and seen his work close up and it's gorgeous. He builds the knobs after he gets the order(i.e., there's nothing stock on the shelf). Pricewise, it's worth to you what it's worth to you. If you sent him a picture of your guitar he'd do his best to match it with something close or complementary. Obviously, this kind of builder generally works with folks getting ground up custom guitars where the price of the instrument can easily dwarf the price of even a Fly Artist.
