Received my Korina DF524 yesterday afternoon.
I'll get into more descriptions & opinions after we have more time together, but I will say one word right now... SWEET!!
I think I'll call her "Funky" for a few reasons: The last few days have just been funky for me; She made me think of the song "Funk 49" (don't know why..) and I got her for my 49th birthday, so that fits; I purchased her from Larry @ FunkyMunky Music..*thanks for all the help & patience Larry!; and I already have two other guitars named "Fang" and "Fate", so that keeps the whole "F" thing working...
Alright, enough silliness... here's a teaser pic..

a few more pictures here - http://picasaweb.google.com/xjbebop/KDF?feat=directlink

*my photos are like my guitar playing.. I love to do it, but I'm not very good at it...

Is it light? How are those Dimarzio's? Are the frets set in grooves on a ebony fret board? Sorry, to many questions. She's a beauty!

"Dimarzio's?" ??? wait....what...?????
We've got a couple of other guitars with this S/S/H setup, but the DF's pups are stronger and way more articulate. I also like how well the system responds to small adjustments of the volume/tone controls.
Very, very 'tone-y' for sure.
The neck is very thin, just like BillyT wrote about in one of the early posts.
The neck joint/heel is quite comfortable and solid.

Personally, I -love- the routed, two-tone headstock, and am really digging the new body shape. I think it's a great merging of traditional and modern, and I'm finding it very comfortable, plus no 'rib bruising'.
I don't have a way to accurately weight it, but after playing it for awhile, I found my other regulars suddenly felt much heavier. Most of the weight is in the body / butt, but it balances perfectly...natch!

I think I like it....

xj, that rocks! Very cool indeed. BTW - how many guitars do you have? Your "guitar room" looks intense!

Casey

I'm a very lucky guy....

Funkyfly and I are getting more comfortable with each other as time allows... what a great design, and a gorgeous piece of wood!!

It's amazing, in that color reminds me of a Peavey T-60. Except way cooler.
