Sadly I gave my P8EN a bit of a hard time on Monday evening and the back of the bridge lifted off the body. The guitar was playable, although it went a little flat, which was easily solved.

I've sent the guitar to my tame luthier to have it fixed. He says he will probably want to remove the bridge completely to understand why it is coming adrift and will reset the whole thing.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

(I've never had this problem before and I can't beleive that the bridge would lift on my J200 or 000-42)

Happened to me too. The wood plating under the bridge failed. Its a 50/50 shot if your guitar can be repaired. Mine is holding so far but my tech told me that if it fails again that the guitar is junk.

Well, my trusty (and trusted) luthier removed the bridge with ease and says it can be re-glued, properly this time, quite easily. He does suggest that the assemblers of this particular instrument should have applied an appropriate quamtity of glue, across the whole area, first time around!

I had a P8E prototype and the bridge was lifting. The bracing in general was not the best design, according to my luthier. Keep your fingers crossed.
